  Posters who were not posting last month, please make sure you will do this month. Many experienced posters consider it wise to start posting early on the begining of new month, it is also wise to plan your posting in advance. It is also encouraged to set up a regular day and time for posting and to post together with your family. This way you avoid becoming an irregular poster.

  Those of you, who did not post for 6 months in a row became inactive posters. What a lack of apreciaton that would be, to willingly abandon such a privillege - being able to post on JWN!

  Your reports should be handed as soon as possible personally to JWN secretary.

  Too bad our daughter was born....

  thats what on many occasions our long time family friend (an elder) told us.

  believe it or not, they were saying this in her presence (she was 16 at the time)!!!.

  I remember when my wife got pregnant for the first time 8 years ago, number 1 question of EVERYBODY in KH was: "Oh, did you plan it?" OMG - what a stupid question! Like you should apologize for it! No one single "wordly" person did ever ask us this! Its unthinkable!

  I remember I was answering everybody: "Do you really think this is a proper question brother?" And on several occasions (to our close friends) I answerd "Oh, you want to know if our condom got ripped?"

  If it was supposed to be embarassing for me, why not for them?

  Quandry - now I see I wasnt clear enough: It is about THEIR daughter. We were childless at that time.... You can be sure he would never mention that in front of our kid!

  BTW: He was often telling us "It is great you dont have a child .. blah blah blah" On which I always reacted: "But what if we want to have a child???" And he did not understand what am I talking about....

  Thats what on many occasions our long time family friend (an elder) told us. Believe it or not, they were saying this in her presence (she was 16 at the time)!!!

  I told him he never should mention something like this in her presence, becouse this is very frustrating for her and definitely must damage their relationship. He just replied: Oh, dont worry about her, she is OK, BUT, if we did not have her, we could have done much more in Jehovahs service...!"

  Iam really not making this up.. Do you have a similar experience?

  P.S.: Their daughter left their house when she turned 18 in a very spectacular way with the first weirdo boyfriend, got pregnant, DF...etc....

  door to door is an essential way of preaching among jw, you cannot get baptized unles you join in door-to-door service, ..... but how many converts in your congregation in past 20 years came out of door-to-door preaching?

  please deduct mentally handicaped and weirdos.. number for your congregation?.

  mine could be 2, (mother with a teenage son), but they da shortly after baptism.. albert .

  wobble: Now they just use D to D work to keep the R & F busy and not thinking, it dosn't serve any other purpose.

  Yes I sincerely believe this is true... WTBS is so obsessed with efficiency, it is hard to imagine they would let so many people be in so inefective activity... They dont care about results, just want to keep JWs busy...

  pups: But I guess you can deduct me as a weirdo, or better yet, I am probably mentally handicapped!!!

  here's one example: being a congregation publisher.

  nowhere in the bible does it say you should be a "publisher" and turn in your time if you preach.

  they try to twist the scriptures by saying that numbers are constantly being recorded in the bible so then conforming to the rules of being a publisher is from the scriptures.. yeah, right..

  ISAAC: My reply to Reniaa: Logical fallacy again by you. And projecting the use of Santa to all who observe Christmas. Not all Christians celebrate Christmas with Santa...

  Very true, in Czech republic, there is no Santa, gifts are provided at Christmass to kids by "Baby Jesus". It sounds weird to most americans, but it is so... does it make Christmass more acceptable to Reniaa?

  knorr banned them because the bible says...."families must worship together".....but sitting thru a watchtower study where the topic is "porniea" and little 7 year old johnny puts his hand up and answers: "jehooova...hates oral sex!

  " watchtower conductor: "yes, thank you johnny...good comment...".

  Have you ever been to FAMILY NIGHT at BETHEL?

  family night is held once a year at bethel and all the branches.

  when i was a missionary, every year both missionary homes in that country were invited to the branch office, and we had a dinner with the bethelites, and family night.

  the bethelites did some singing and skits, and each missionary home was invited to submit something.

  No, I was just at a Bethel breakfast ... it was great ...

  Out of the 30 minutes we were 25 minutes sitting and watching the food and listening Daily text, comment on daily text, comment on the comment of the daily text and then comment on the comment on the comment on the daily text. After that was short reading from the new yearbook, and after that there was some interesting experience by a brother who was in Brooklyn Bethel lately ... In the meantime some prayers ... and than it happenned!!!! we were allowed to eat for 3,5 minutes, than everybody was rushing to work ...

  I never ate so fast in my life....
